Each year, one of Valley Shakespeare Festival’s professionally acclaimed productions travels to schools, homeless shelters and community centers throughout the Lower Naugatuck Valley.  These shows are family-friendly and require limited setup, making them ready to perform in nearly any space.

Performances in the past have been noted for their fresh takes on classics (Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing, As You Like It, Pericles, and The Two Gentlemen of Verona) that are performed intimately and invite the audience to participate.

Starting in April 2026-May 2026, Valley Shakespeare Festival will take on the ambitious Julius Caesar.  Set in the world of sports, this new innovative production imagines the drama of Julius Caesar unfolding in a sports arena, where rivalries, ambition, and betrayal feel right at home. Valley Shakespeare Festival’s contemporary adaptation brings Shakespeare’s classic to life with all the excitement, spectacle, and suspense of a championship game.

Want to give your audience an unforgettable experience? Book a performance and let your organization host the play everyone will be talking about long after the final whistle. Secure your date now—spaces are filling up fast!
